Cat Lady Box!

My favorite day of the month is the day my cat lady box arrives!

I signed up to receive The Cat Lady Box about two years ago. Monthly subscription boxes have become pretty popular and this one fit me and my lifestyle purrfectly. The subscription is either $29.99 or $39.99, depending if you’re just a cat lady or a CRAZY CAT LADY. Each month I get a box delivered containing  3-5 items for myself and two cat toys, valued around $100.

My top 5 favorite cat lady items:

  1. Beach towel
  2. Wine glasses
  4. Kitty Scarf
  5. Cat Butt Pillow Cases

When my box arrives, my cats go crazy. They love it just as much as I do!

If you love quirky cat lady items + you love your cat, you should sign up. The Cat Lady Box organization donates a portion of proceeds to cat rescue organizations. They also use items from small businesses and independent artists. This company has my heart. And they even use me on their site as a model. That’s how you know you’ve made it.

*Fur* Mom Life

“If you think my hands are full, you should see my heart”

I am a fur mom…

*Drum roll please*

I have 2 dogs + 5 cats, gasp! It sounds insane, I know. And some days it feels pretty insane. I never intended to have this many animals under one roof, but I acquired them all and fell in love.

Yes, I vacuum everyday. Yes, the cat box is a pain. Yes, fur covers most surfaces.

The FURminator is my best friend.

It is a lot of work, but I would not have it any other way. They are family members, they are my babies. And they all are spoiled rotten!

First came Scarlett, my black cat #1. She was a dollar at my swim meet when I was 16!

Then I got Gemma, my chiweenie. She is my shadow. Gemma is basically attached to my hip.

Then Truett Catty, my main coon. I found him at Chick-fil-A under a guests car in the drive-thru. He was kept in a fry box until I got off. He’s my baaaaby. Weighing in a 17 lbs. Truett was recently diagnosed with heart disease. It breaks my heart knowing his heart has a malfunction.

Next it was “the kittens,” sisters who we found in a field getting eaten by ants. They were tiny! And so adorable. They are still very small.

Blue is up next. She’s a Australian Shepard- Catahoula mix. We found her on the side of the road in South Texas. She’s a 70 lb lap dog, spoiled rotten. She likes to see how many toys she can put into her mouth at once.

Finally, it is Jack. The craziest cat on the planet. His motto is- “If I fit, I sit!”

These seven misfits are the best things that ever happened to me. I love them all so much.
